Three questions, then the white paper. I keep reading that reapplying without a change of circumstances is pointless, but nobody says what counts as a change. Has anyone reapplied successfully without a new job or a new house?

133 found this helpfulA 214(b) refusal is not a finding of fact you can rebut, it is a failure to satisfy the officer on the day. Changes that count are ones that make the residence abroad harder to abandon: a longer employment record, a dependant, an asset, a completed trip on a similar visa elsewhere and returned on time. A new travel history is often the strongest one available to someone with nothing else to add.
